JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX News Media is looking for an enthusiastic Associate Producer to help launch a multi-vertical news program. As an Associate Producer, you have sharp editorial, writing, and copyediting skills. You recognize stories with high potential and pitch guests who will inform and enlighten our viewers. You are a proactive, passionate, and self-motivated individual who can handle breaking news well and can implement last-minute changes effectively. You are a team player who collaborates with a variety of editorial staff, guests, and technical teams.

Cover breaking news events and pitch story ideas
Pursue original and exclusive stories through close contact with sources
Collaborate closely with editors and fellow writers/reporters
Participate in editorial planning

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

A Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience working in a newsroom
Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and work under pressure in a fast-paced newsroom
Must know current events and have a desire to be precise, quick, and accurate

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $61,000.00-70,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
