JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Manager of Content Engagement & Strategy to join Fox Nation! As Manager, Content Engagement & Strategy, you will oversee the curation and maintenance of the front-facing user experience for the Fox Nation platform. You have strong editorial judgment and a passion for making data-driven decisions. You will work closely with the production team, marketing team, product team, and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that drive audience engagement, optimize the user interface, and enhance customer satisfaction.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and facilitate the overall strategy of the user-facing side of the platform

  • Leverage FOX’s internal CMS to curate Fox Nation’s front-facing experience across Web, Mobile, and CTV devices

  • Participate in product team discussions, helping to guide the development of the Fox Nation platform roadmap with backend CMS knowledge

  • Troubleshoot platform issues when they arise; work with engineers, content ops, and product team to implement solutions

  • Perform quality assurance on any graphics delivered for the platform before ingestion, ensuring that they comply with UI safety standards

  • Conduct user acceptance testing on any feature launches and bug fixes implemented

  • Use analytics and data-driven insights to understand audience behavior and optimize content engagement

  • Continuously monitor metrics such as page views, click-through rates, and time on page to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize content strategy across the business unit

  • Manage a specialist, to assist with optimization and curation duties

  • Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages innovative ideas and continuous learning

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of content initiatives using relevant tools and platforms

  • Provide regular demonstrations to senior management, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement

  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices

  • Incorporate new ideas and concepts into the content strategy to maintain a competitive edge

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team

  • Understanding of digital content management systems

  • Troubleshooting technical issues & brainstorming solutions

  • Strong editorial judgment

  • A passion for and knowledge of breaking news, current events, and pop culture

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to extract insights and drive decision-making

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $95,000.00-105,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
