FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KMSP Fox 9 / WFTC My 29 / www.fox9.com are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Executive Coordinator to directly support the Vice President/ General Manager and other Department Managers as needed. In addition to providing the GM with administrative assistance, this person will also provide analytical support using a number of data streams. 

This position requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, efficient organizational skills and data and research knowledge. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is also required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in working through complex tasks and projects quickly and efficiently, on their own, possess a keen sense of urgency and situational awareness, and are able to work independently.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include the ability to act as an extension of the VP/General Manager’s office, to think and plan-ahead, to manage time super-effectively, and assisting with meeting agendas and materials. Candidate must possess superior judgment and problem solving skills and have an aptitude for prioritization. Candidate must have the ability to quickly learn organizational structure, industry specific knowledge, team objectives and have demonstrated experience with interpreting complicated data.

Qualifications
The individual will need the following qualifications and education requirements:

• Strong work tenure: 3-4 years of experience supporting high level executives
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products, digital platforms, marketing research and data
• High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
• Detailed planning, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• A terrific work ethic accompanied by an ever-positive, get-it-done attitude
• Sound judgment and flexibility to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines with little to no direction
